Pick-up Day

Wayne took the day off work especially to pick-up the Tvan. One would think that as this is a regular occurrence it would go smoothly. It didn't.

Unfortunately Outback HQ forgot to book us in for pick-up and wanted to change the day.

Um, no. Couldn't do it. So we wasted a morning and had to do the handover/pick-up during the afternoon.

On the wettest day of the year.

It took hours. Not that that is a bad thing. We were shown how to put it up, take it down. How the legs on the floor fitted. How to put the awning up and down. How the kitchen worked. Where the water filler is. Etc. Etc. Etc.

It just happened to be the day that overnight stays were allowed again, just in time for us to head off for the Queens Birthday weekend :)
